Salary: £36,721 per annum (Depending on qualification, skills and experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)
Are you passionate about creating engaging digital experiences and helping organisations make the most of their online platforms?
We are looking for a Website & Digital Platforms Officer to manage, develop and maintain our College website, intranet and SharePoint environment, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, secure and user focused.
You’ll be responsible for maintaining and updating the College website, including publishing content, news articles and announcements, while ensuring all website content remains accurate, consistent, up to date and aligned with agreed standards. You will support the maintenance and accuracy of course information and related website content, monitor website accessibility and user experience, and make recommendations for continuous improvement. The role will also involve supporting website development projects, managing permissions and content approval workflows, and administering and maintaining SharePoint Online sites and departmental workspaces. You will design and develop SharePoint pages, document libraries, forms and workflows, support Microsoft 365 collaboration tools including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Forms and Power Automate, and provide guidance, training and support to staff.
What we're looking for
- Educated to Level 3 or above in IT, Digital Media, Computing, Web Development or a related discipline.
- Experience managing websites using a Content Management System (CMS).
- Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint Online.
- Experience creating and maintaining web content.
- Experience supporting users in a Microsoft 365 environment.
- Experience managing digital documents and information.
