We are looking for experienced freelance Large Format UV Print Operators to join our freelance list. You will be responsible for operating our Mimaki JFX200 UV flatbed printer to produce high quality exhibition graphics, signage and print materials to tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating and maintaining the Mimaki JFX200 UV flatbed printer
- Preparing and checking print files for production
- Colour management and quality control
- Printing onto various substrates including foamex, dibond, acrylic and PVC
- Cutting and finishing printed materials
- Maintaining print equipment including wiper and head maintenance
- Meeting production deadlines for live exhibition schedules
Requirements:
Essential
Proven experience operating large format UV flatbed printers
Strong colour management skills
File preparation and RIP software knowledge
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Based in or able to commute to SE15
Desirable
Mimaki JFX200 specific experience
Experience with foamex and rigid substrates
Exhibition/events industry background
Experience with finishing equipment
Knowledge of Keencut board cutters
