Amore Complex Care is seeking an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of up to four supported living services. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering outstanding, person-centred care while ensuring compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and regulatory requirements.
As Service Manager, you will be responsible for promoting the wellbeing, independence and development of the individuals we support, while providing leadership, supervision and development opportunities for staff teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesService Leadership
- Manage and oversee the daily operation of 3–4 services.
- Ensure the safety, welfare and wellbeing of all service users and staff.
- Promote a positive, person-centred culture that supports independence, dignity and choice.
- Ensure all services operate in compliance with CQC regulations, Health and Safety legislation, and company policies.
Staff Management
- Lead, support, supervise and develop support staff teams.
- Identify and coordinate training requirements, including Care Certificate standards.
- Conduct regular supervision sessions and contribute to staff appraisals.
- Participate in the on-call rota as required.
Quality & Compliance
- Maintain high standards of care and support across all services.
- Monitor service delivery and ensure accurate record keeping.
- Ensure medication administration, incident reporting, care documentation and service user records are completed accurately and on time.
- Support continuous improvement and best practice within services.
Service User Support
- Encourage and empower service users to participate in decision-making.
- Promote independence, social inclusion and community engagement.
- Ensure service users receive appropriate support with daily living activities, personal care, nutrition, recreation and wellbeing.
Financial & Administrative Responsibilities
- Manage household budgets and maintain accurate financial records.
- Oversee ordering of household supplies and essential resources.
- Coordinate property maintenance and liaise with landlords and contractors when required.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and organised individual who has:
- Experience working within health and social care services.
- Previous management or supervisory experience within a care setting.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
- The ability to manage multiple services effectively and confidently.
- A willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
