Overview
We are seeking a professional Taxi Driver to provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation services to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate the taxi vehicle in accordance with local traffic laws and company policies
- Pick up and drop off passengers at designated locations promptly and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance
- Assist passengers with luggage or mobility needs when necessary
- Keep accurate records of trips, fares, and mileage for reporting purposes
- Communicate effectively with passengers to understand their needs and provide excellent service
- Follow all safety protocols, including adherence to COVID-19 guidelines and protective measures
Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record; previous experience as a driver is preferred
- Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting passengers or handling luggage
- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with diverse customers
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and safety regulations
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge to identify issues early and ensure vehicle safety
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays if required
