Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining vehicles for sale and equipment to ensure optimal operational performance. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on machinery and equipment to identify faults or potential issues.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems efficiently to minimise downtime.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as required.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role, with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems is desirable but not essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
