Role Responsibilities
We are looking for a Service Centre Technician to join our team based in Bourne. You will be responsible for supporting Secure Innovation’s service operations by delivering high-quality technical support, repairs, and customer service across both the service centre and field environments.
The following tasks and activities form the primary duties of the role. Please note this list is not exhaustive and the role will require you to complete additional ad hoc activities:
Technical Expertise & Product Knowledge
· Maintain a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of all Secure Innovation products and associated contractual commitments.
· Carry out day-to-day fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repairs on Secure Innovation products within the service centre and in the field.
· Diagnose equipment faults, recommend appropriate solutions, and carry out necessary adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Service Delivery & Operational Performance
· Work to achieve and continuously improve operational performance metrics, including first-time fix rates and service efficiency KPIs.
· Ensure all service activities are completed to a high standard, in line with company procedures, work instructions, and quality standards.
· Escalate unresolved technical or operational issues promptly via the appropriate line management channels.
Administration & Reporting
· Ensure all paperwork, service documentation, and associated databases are completed accurately and submitted in a timely and efficient manner.
· Maintain effective stock control, including monitoring, maintenance, and reporting of inventory as required.
Customer Service & Collaboration
· Provide a high level of customer service by answering customer queries and offering clear, professional technical advice.
· Collaborate with other members of the technical and service teams to ensure consistent service quality and customer satisfaction.
· Liaise with senior management and relevant stakeholders to support the achievement of operational objectives and KPIs.
Flexibility & Team Support
· Attend team meetings and training courses as required, including those held at remote locations.
· Work remotely in the field when required and directed, completing product assessment and repairs and/or collections/deliveries, as required to fulfil customer SLAs.
Health, Safety & Compliance
· Comply fully with all company health & safety policies, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements, including when working at customer sites.
· Ensure a valid driving licence is maintained and adhere to all road safety regulations and company driving policies.
· Ensure any company vehicle used is maintained in good condition, with all required safety checks completed prior to use.
Additional Expectations
· Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
· Complete all mandatory business wide and role specific training in a timely manner.
· Any other ad hoc duties within the scope of your role/skills and experience.
This role requires the ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence and fluency in English.

The successful candidate will be required to prove they have the right to work in the UK . The successful candidate will also be subject to a stringent 10-year vetting and referencing check, which includes a basic DBS check.
