At Mammoth – MTS, we’re proud to be one of the UK’s leading suppliers of specialist equipment to the civil engineering, utilities and construction industries. Through Mammoth Equipment and MTS Suction Systems UK Ltd, we provide market-leading trenchless technology and safe excavation solutions across the UK and Ireland.
Our success isn’t built solely on the equipment we supply—it’s built on the relationships we create with our customers. That’s where you come in.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, organised and customer-focused Customer Support Coordinator who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service.
If you’re someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, keeping projects on track and making customers feel valued, we’d love to hear from you.
The Role
Working along side internal managers and wider team, you’ll become the central point of contact throughout our customers’ journey—from confirming their order through to the exciting day they receive their new equipment.
Every day will be different. You’ll be coordinating multiple customer projects, liaising with our manufacturing partners in Germany, communicating progress updates, and working alongside our Sales, Service and Accounts teams to ensure every customer enjoys a smooth and professional experience.
Most importantly, you’ll help deliver the high standards of service that Mammoth – MTS has become known for.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same, including:
· Building strong, long-lasting relationships with our customers.
· Keeping customers informed throughout every stage of their order.
· Coordinating multiple customer projects while ensuring deadlines are met.
· Working closely with our manufacturing partners in Germany to monitor production progress and resolve queries.
· Handling customer enquiries by phone and email with professionalism and confidence.
· Maintaining accurate customer records using our CRM and internal systems.
· Preparing reports and ensuring all project documentation is accurate and up to date.
· Collaborating with colleagues across Sales, Service, Accounts and Management to deliver the very best customer experience.
· General administrative duties supporting accounts and service.
· Identifying opportunities to improve our processes and customer journey.
What We’re Looking For
We’re less interested in finding someone who ticks every box and more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
Ideally you’ll have:
· Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail.
· The ability to manage several tasks and priorities at once.
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
· Confidence speaking with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
· A proactive, positive approach to problem solving.
· Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
· Confidence learning and using CRM or business systems.
· The ability to work independently while also being a supportive team player.
· A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service.
Experience within construction, plant or engineering industries would be advantageous but is not essential.
