Overview
An opportunity has arisen for the role of Warehouse Coordinator to become an integral member of our Warehouse team. This role will focus predominantly on the picking & preparation of daily consignments.
This role is based on-site at our Warehouse & Distribution site, Eastwood Street, Bradford.
Responsibilities
- Promoting a safety-first culture for warehouse & distribution operations.
- Ensuring the warehouse department is represented in a professional manner.
- Attending monthly Business Improvement Meetings to contribute to business & process improvement.
- Embracing the 5S methodology.
- Receiving deliveries, unloading & storing products using forklift trucks.
- Entering purchase receipts onto Navision software.
- Picking & preparing customer orders ready for despatch (Manual Handling up to 25 kilos will be required).
- Processing orders using handheld devices.
- Loading goods onto delivery vehicles using forklift trucks
- Ensuring customer orders are available to load on time.
- Communicating effectively with the rest of the team & other stakeholders.
- Assisting & providing cover for colleagues.
Essential Criteria
- Good numeracy skills.
- Computer literate.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Flexible and willing to undertake a broad range of tasks.
- Commitment to 5S and business improvement.
Desirable Criteria
- Hold a Reach FLT license.
- Hold a Counterbalance FLT license.
- Warehouse Management System experience
- Full UK driving license.
