Job Summary
You will be in charge of a hire Luton vehicle provided to you through DTE delivering all over the UK Monday to Friday. You will be required to collect work on a Saturday from Chorely to deliver on the Monday. We can guarantee to have enough work to sub out Monday-Friday which pays between £600-800. This is not multi drop, it will be between 2-6 deliveries (on average per day).
Points must be disclosed upon application. We do not sub-contract work to those with drug/drink driving on their license!
Duties
- Safely operate a DTE vehicle to deliver pallets and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Arrive to deliveries up to an hour before to avoid traffic
- Handle packages with care, including heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring items are secure during transit
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any questions or concerns
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and logs for each shipment
- Maintain your vehicle’s cleanliness and perform routine safety checks to ensure optimal operation
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries

Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in commercial driving environments, demonstrating safe driving practices
- Ability to lift heavy packages safely and efficiently as part of daily duties
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deliveries and adapt to changing schedules
Pay: From £600.00 per week
