AKVA group Scotland, a leading global aquaculture service & technology company, are looking to recruit a Workshop Technician to join our established team in Inverness.
Our Inverness workshop supports our growing rental business as well as maintaining customer-owned equipment, helping ensure specialist aquaculture technology is prepared, reliable and ready for use. The role involves servicing, repairing and testing a wide range of electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment used throughout the aquaculture industry. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll help prepare equipment for customer deployment while maintaining the high standards of quality and reliability our customers expect
Key Responsibilities
· Service, repair and test a range of specialist equipment
· Diagnose faults and carry out repairs
· Prepare rental and customer-owned equipment ready for deployment or return to service
· Record repairs, testing results and parts used using digital systems
· Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work area
· Support colleagues in the workshop and assist with customer site work where required, following appropriate training and safety procedures

· Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems
Previous experience in a mechanical, electrical or technical role would be an advantage, but it is not essential. We are equally interested in candidates with the right attitude, a practical mindset and a willingness to develop. Full training will be provided.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £13.80-£17.28 per hour
