At Nuu Home Group, we believe every young person deserves a safe home, trusted adults and the opportunity to build a positive future.
We provide high-quality supported accommodation for young people aged 16+, supporting them to develop confidence, independence and the practical life skills they need for adulthood.
Following the successful opening of Zion House in Dover and our expansion to Zoe House in Canterbury, we’re looking for a reliable and caring Evening & Sleep-In Support Worker to provide consistent evening and overnight support across both homes.
Experience in supported accommodation, residential childcare, youth work or social care is desirable, although we also value the right attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.
The Role
This position would particularly suit someone looking for regular part-time evening work with sleep-ins, whether alongside another role, studies or other commitments.
A typical duty will involve working an evening period before completing a sleep-in at one of our homes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting young people during the evening and helping maintain positive routines.

- Supporting independence and everyday life skills.
- Completing appropriate evening records and handovers.
- Promoting a calm, safe and welcoming home environment.
- Safeguarding young people and maintaining professional boundaries.

- Working across our Dover and Canterbury homes according to the rota.
During a sleep-in, you will have appropriate sleeping facilities and will normally be able to sleep, while remaining available to respond if required.
Although you’ll often work independently, you’ll always have the backing of our management team, with management/on-call support available throughout the night.
