Warehouse Operative – Warehouse Organisation & Cleaning
Working Hours: 5:00am – 2pm, 35 days per week.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to help keep our warehouse clean, organised and running efficiently. This is a hands-on role involving organising stock, maintaining fridges and freezers, cleaning warehouse areas, and ensuring products are stored correctly.
The ideal person will be organised, practical, physically fit and able to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
Responsibilities
- Organise and maintain the warehouse to a high standard
- Organise and rotate stock to ensure products are stored correctly
- Clean and maintain fridges and freezers
- Keep storage areas, floors and work areas clean and tidy
- Check stock and ensure products are organised and easy to locate
- Move and arrange stock safely within the warehouse
- Assist with stock checks and stock rotation
- Ensure food products are stored safely and hygienically
- Remove waste and keep the warehouse clear and organised
- Follow all health, safety and food hygiene procedures
- Report any damaged products, equipment issues or maintenance concerns
- Support the warehouse team with general duties when required
Experience & Requirements
- Previous warehouse or cleaning experience is an advantage
- Experience working with food or in a food environment is preferred
- Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling duties
- Comfortable working in cold fridge/freezer environments
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in
Pay: £25,420.00 per year
