Working Hours: 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday (temporary, term time only)

Pay Rate: £130 - £220 per day (dependant on experience and qualifications)

We’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teachers to work in a range of friendly and supportive primary schools across Wigan and the surrounding areas. We’re looking for teachers who are committed to creating engaging learning experiences, building positive relationships with pupils, and making a lasting impact in the classroom.
Job Description:
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils.
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, adapting teaching where appropriate.
- Promote high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, school staff and parents to support pupil development.
- Deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience.
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils by following school safeguarding policies.
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a primary specialism.
- Professional experience teaching or supporting children within a primary school.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate for the Child Workforce registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
- A positive, reliable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Ability to reliably commute to schools across Wigan and the surrounding areas.
Desirable:
- Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
- Experience working with pupils with SEND or additional learning needs.
- Flexibility to work across different year groups and school settings.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
