We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Deliver high-quality care to children and young people, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development are prioritized at all times
- Lead the implementation of individualized care plans, regularly reviewing progress and adjusting strategies as needed
- Support children with daily activities, including personal care, education, recreation, and emotional support
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, fostering teamwork and professional development within the residential team
- Maintain accurate records of care activities, incidents, and progress notes using IT systems efficiently
- Communicate effectively with children, families, social workers, and external agencies to coordinate care and support plans
- Drive the safety protocols within the home, ensuring compliance with all safeguarding policies and procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children or young people in a residential or childcare setting
- Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, colleagues, and external partners
- Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual needs
- Valid driving license to facilitate transportation when required for activities or appointments
- Competence in using IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends, or sleep-ins as necessary

Pay: £25,420.00-£37,167.30 per year
