Oakfield Psychological Services is a leading provider of specialist therapeutic services within NHS and community settings. For over 13 years, we have been supporting children and young people with complex emotional, behavioural and mental health needs through bespoke therapeutic care and multidisciplinary working.
Our dedicated team includes psychologists, clinicians, specialist mental health nurses, residential managers and support staff who work collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes for the young people we support.
We are now looking to recruit an organised, proactive and motivated Administrative Assistant to join our growing team.
About the Role
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the organisation. You will provide high-quality administrative support across multiple departments, ensuring information is managed accurately and confidentially while contributing to the efficient delivery of our therapeutic and residential services.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to managers and the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based records in line with GDPR and organisational policies.
- Manage incoming telephone calls, emails and enquiries professionally.
- Support recruitment administration, including interview scheduling and onboarding documentation.
- Maintain staff personnel files, training records and compliance documentation.
- Assist with auditing documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate meetings, appointments and diaries.
- Support with data entry, spreadsheets and internal reporting.
- Order office supplies and maintain administrative systems.
- Undertake any other administrative duties required to support the business.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience within an administrative or office-based role.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Competent using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams).
- Ability to prioritise workload and work independently.
- Professional, approachable and confidential at all times.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience within health, social care or children's services.
- Knowledge of Ofsted or CQC regulated services.
- Experience maintaining confidential records.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
