We are seeking an experienced Pub Manager for our new sports venue opening in Greenock - candidates must have previous experience of running a bar (which also serves Pub grab) and must have a Personal License

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all pub operations, including food preparation, serving, bar service, and overall guest experience
- Manage team schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding hospitality
- Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Coordinate food production processes, including cooking and culinary preparation, to ensure quality and consistency
- Monitor inventory levels for food, beverages, and supplies; place orders as needed to prevent shortages
- Train staff on customer service excellence, food safety procedures, and operational standards
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction and repeat business
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within a hospitality or restaurant environment
- Strong team management skills with the ability to inspire and lead diverse staff members
- Extensive restaurant or pub experience with knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Familiarity with hospitality operations including serving, bar management, and culinary processes
- Previous experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of food production systems and kitchen operations is essential

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,000.00 per year
