Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils with efficiency and care.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment and work surfaces are sanitized and organized to meet health and safety standards.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain a tidy workspace.
- Assist with restocking supplies and ensuring all necessary items are available for smooth kitchen operations.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to food service environments.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
Pay: £12.71-£20.05 per hour
