DALROD is a fast-paced business located in Bedford near Milton Keynes, operating both reactive and pre-planned drainage services. DALROD Milton Keynes is currently seeking experienced CCTV Engineer to join our team.
Job Description:
As a CCTV Engineer, you will be responsible for the carrying out both small and large CCTV Surveys for domestic and commercial projects, you will be producing survey reports to a S104 / S38 standard, assisting clients with the adoption of drainage systems. You will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and upkeep of your vehicle, carrying relevant vehicle checks and reporting defects. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in diverse and sometimes challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
· CCTV Surveys:
o Undertake CCTV Surveys to a standard suitable for S104 / S38 adoption.
o Investigating repeated issues and operational problems with drainage systems but carrying out small scale CCTV surveys to assess possible resolutions.
o Document findings, photographs and observations.
· Equipment Operation:
o Operate pushrod or mainline CCTV units to carry out clear accurate CCTV inspections.
o Operate hand tools and small equipment for tasks such as lifting manhole covers, gully and other access points.
· Material Handling:
o Transport, handle, and load/unload machines and tools to carry out tasks.
o Follow proper procedures for the handling and disposal of construction materials.
· Safety Compliance:
o Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
o Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and follow safety procedures during all tasks.
· Team Collaboration:
o Work closely with other team members, including engineers, and fellow operatives, to achieve project goals.
o Communicate effectively and contribute positively to the overall team dynamic.
· Documentation:
o Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work performed, materials used, and any incidents or challenges encountered.
o Prepare detail drawings and/or plans to help illustrate drainage layout, pipe direction and potential system defects.
o Prepare progress reports and documentation for project records.
Training, Qualifications, and Experience:
· Current WJA High Pressure Water Jetting ticket.
· Confined Space, medium risk as a minimum.
· Current OS19X or equivalent certification is desirable, but full training will be provided.
· SHEA Water or CSCS card.
· Full manual driving license is essential.
· Experience carrying out pipe cleaning and jetting operations.
· Experience carrying out clearance of internal drainage issues.
· Experience using various industry recognised CCTV units, full training will be provided.
