Gilcrest Manufacturing is looking for a Sales Administrator to join our team in Avonmouth.
This is a busy, varied role supporting our Sales, Estimating, Contracts and Business Development teams. We need someone who is organised, confident and comfortable taking responsibility for their own workload.
The role involves keeping our CRM and sales information accurate and up to date, dealing with customers by phone and email, processing orders, preparing reports and supporting the day-to-day running of the sales function.

Gilcrest Manufacturing is a specialist manufacturing business established in 2002 and based in Avonmouth.
We manufacture high-specification cleanroom systems for the global pharmaceutical market and other specialist sectors. We are also a leading manufacturer of composite panels, producing bespoke solutions to meet individual project requirements.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming calls and dealing with or directing enquiries.
- Supporting customers from initial enquiry through to order.
- Keeping customer, prospect, project and quotation information up to date in the CRM.
- Using Excel to manage data and produce sales, estimating and KPI reports.
- Processing customer orders and checking information is correct.
- Producing simple customer quotations.
- Gathering information on new projects and potential customers.
- Supporting the BDM with appointments, meetings and diary management.
- Helping organise customer meetings and events.
- Following up on outstanding information and actions.
- Supporting the Sales, Estimating and Contracts teams with general administration.
- Writing professional emails and responding to customer enquiries.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for someone who is confident, motivated and willing to get stuck in.
You will need to be comfortable working independently and managing your own workload. You should be someone who follows things through, asks questions when something doesn't look right and doesn't need to be constantly reminded about outstanding tasks.
You will need:
- Good Excel skills and confidence working with spreadsheets and data.
- Good working knowledge of Word and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organisation and time management.
- The ability to manage several tasks and priorities.
- A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- The confidence to work independently and use your own initiative.
- Good problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in sales administration, customer service, order processing or a similar administrative role would be useful.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is reliable, confident and motivated, with a good work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Pay: From £26,000.00 per year
