Hwb Cloud Delivery Manager (PAS)
The Hwb Cloud Delivery Manager plays a vital role in supporting the smooth, reliable, and secure operation of Hwbs Provisioning and Authentication Service (PAS), the national identity and account management platform that underpins access to digital learning tools for every maintained school in Wales.
Working closely with the Senior PAS Delivery Manager, technical teams and managed service providers, the role provides day‑to‑day delivery support across a complex, multi‑supplier environment. This includes coordinating delivery activity, tracking progress against milestones, facilitating collaboration between suppliers and internal teams, and helping to resolve issues that could impact service continuity.
The post‑holder provides structure and discipline to the delivery process by supporting change governance, risk and issue management, and quality assurance activities. They help ensure developments meet agreed standards, safeguard users, and comply with data protection and security requirements. The role also contributes to continuous improvement by gathering insight, identifying inefficiencies, and helping drive enhancements that improve the reliability and effectiveness of the Provisioning Service.
Through proactive coordination, strong communication, and thoughtful engagement with stakeholders across local authorities, suppliers, and internal teams, the Delivery Manager helps ensure that Hwbs core identity and provisioning services remain stable, resilient, and responsive to the needs of the education sector. This role directly supports the safe and impactful use of digital technology in Welsh schools, contributing to an equitable digital experience for all learners and practitioners.
Hwb EdTech Delivery Manager
You will work as part of a small team to support the delivery and implementation of the Hwb EdTech Programme which aims to drive the digital transformation of education in Wales. You will be supporting the delivery of digital initiatives related to informing and transforming the way schools embrace technology in the classroom. You will work closely with local authorities, through governance groups such as the Technical Standardisation Group (TSG) and partners to support them to meet the Education digital standards (EDS) and enhancing their digital maturity.
Reporting to the Hwb Senior EdTech Delivery Manager, the post holder will undertake a pivotal role in supporting the adoption of digital and technology across all maintained schools in Wales.

They will be energised by working at a national, cross‑sector level, helping improve digital experiences for learners, practitioners and schools across Wales. A background in education isnt necessary but a good understanding of delivery, change management and supplier assurance is a must.
