Bridge House Clinic is a growing private multidisciplinary clinic located between Chester and Wrexham. We bring together experienced consultants and healthcare professionals across a wide range of specialties, providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a welcoming and modern environment.
We're looking for an experienced, compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse to join us on a freelance (self-employed) basis to support our expanding range of specialist clinics.
This role is ideal for a nurse who enjoys working independently, is confident supporting consultants across different specialties, and is looking for flexible work alongside an NHS or private healthcare role. As our clinic continues to grow, there may also be opportunities to become involved in additional services and specialist clinics, depending on your skills and experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and preparing patients for consultations and procedures.
- Supporting consultants during clinics and minor procedures.
- Performing venepuncture and blood collection.
- Performing ECGs independently.
- Recording observations and clinical information where required.
- Preparing treatment and consultation rooms before clinics.
- Ensuring treatment rooms remain clean, organised and fully stocked throughout the day.
- Maintaining high standards of infection prevention and patient safety.
- Assisting with stock management and ordering clinical supplies when required.
- Delivering outstanding patient care throughout every patient journey.
We'd love to meet someone who:
✔ Is a Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
✔ Is confident performing ECGs and venepuncture independently.
✔ Has previous experience supporting outpatient clinics, consultant-led clinics or minor procedures.
✔ Is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
✔ Has excellent communication, organisational and patient care skills.
✔ Is reliable, proactive and professional.
✔ Takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care.
Previous experience as a Clinic Nurse, Registered Nurse, Outpatient Nurse, Practice Nurse or Private Healthcare Nurse is highly desirable.
It would be a bonus if you also have experience in:
- Aesthetic treatments (such as skin boosters, anti-wrinkle injections, or other injectable treatments).
- Ear wax removal (microsuction or irrigation).
- Health screening and medical assessments.
- Wound care and dressings.
- Health promotion and patient education.
These skills are not essential but would be a great advantage as we continue to expand our services.
