Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Parts Inspector for a temporary position within our manufacturing facility.
The successful candidate will be required to inspect parts to ensure they meet specified requirements.
Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of parts and components using appropriate measurement tools/jigs/processes
- Verify parts against specifications and quality standards
- Document inspection results accurately and report any discrepancies or defects to the relevant departments
- Assist in the identification and segregation of non-conforming items
- Maintain a clean and organised inspection area to ensure safety and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven experience or training in quality inspection or assurance roles is desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Prior experience with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, or gauges is preferred
