Location: BRNC Dartmouth
Shift: 37.5 hours (shift patterns between 07:00 – 18:30 Monday to Friday, weekend work may be required)

We're looking for a Lifeguard who will deliver a safe, professional and high-quality lifeguarding service to our customers, including Armed Forces personnel, their families and wider community users, while supporting the safe and efficient operation of the leisure facility. Please note, to be successful you must be able to pass SC clearance to work on site.
Role Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safety and good conduct of all swimming pool users by following Normal Pool Operating Procedures
- Respond to incidents and take the lead in emergency situations where required
- Monitor pool usage and maintain a clean, safe and hygienic environment, including changing areas
- Carry out routine pool checks, including water testing, and accurately record results to meet safety standards
- Support the wider team with additional tasks and events as directed by the Line Manager
Required Qualifications:
- RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (in date) (essential)
- Ability to maintain the level of physical fitness required to perform rescues

- Previous experience in a similar role and First Aid training (desirable)
