About Glotech Repairs
Glotech Repairs is one of the leading appliance repair specialists in the UK. As a family-run business with over 40 years of experience, we’ve built our reputation by doing things properly — investing in great people, delivering reliable service, and continuously improving the way we operate.
Our team supports customers ranging from private households and letting agents to housing associations and insurance providers. Every day we coordinate engineers, manage repairs, and ensure customers receive a clear, professional service from start to finish.
Behind every successful repair is a team ensuring everything runs smoothly — and that’s where you come in.
The Role
This role sits at the centre of our operations.
You’ll be helping customers, coordinating engineer visits, and making sure repairs progress efficiently from start to finish. The work can be fast-paced, but it’s also highly rewarding for someone who enjoys solving problems and keeping things organised.
You’ll be trusted to take ownership of tasks, communicate clearly with customers, and support the wider team to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Typical responsibilities include:
- Speaking with customers and resolving queries professionally
- Booking and organising engineer appointments
- Keeping customers informed throughout their repair journey
- Updating internal systems and client portals accurately
- Supporting the coordination of engineers’ schedules and routes
- Working with the team to ensure repairs progress efficiently
No two days are the same, and the people who enjoy this role are those who take pride in staying organised and getting things done.
The Kind of Person Who Thrives Here
We’re less interested in whether you’ve done this exact role before, and more interested in how you approach work.
The people who succeed in our team tend to be naturally organised, proactive, and calm under pressure.
You’ll likely do well in this role if you:
- Take ownership of tasks and follow them through to completion
- Communicate clearly and confidently with customers and colleagues
- Stay calm and organised even when the day gets busy
- Enjoy helping people and solving problems
- Are comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Work well as part of a team but don’t need constant direction
- Bring a positive attitude to your work and the people around you
This role suits people who enjoy being busy and take pride in contributing to a well-run team.
If you prefer a role where tasks are handed to you step-by-step throughout the day, this position may not be the right fit.
What You’ll Get
- Competitive salary
- 28 days paid holiday (including public holidays)
- Pension scheme
- Opportunities to grow and develop within the business
- A supportive team environment where ideas are encouraged
- Company events and team activities
- Free on-site parking
Working hours are Monday to Friday, with one Saturday shift per month.
