Monday – Friday (Saturday overtime at pay and a half available in busy periods)
Early shift: 05:30 - 14:30
Late shift: 10:30 - 19:30
We are looking for a warehouse operative all rounder at our premises in Earls Colne, just off the A120 at Coggeshall and easily accessible from either Braintree or Colchester. The shift times are there to service our ever growing PalletTrack pallet network which we are a shareholder member of. In between these shifts, job responsibilities include, but are not limited to picking and packing, stock taking, scanning, labelling, loading and unloading of trucks, and other basic warehouse responsibilities such as ensuring work spaces are clean, tidy and safe.
Desirable Experience
Knowledge of pallet networks and how they operate
Counterbalance forklift (loading/unloading, double decker trailers)
Devanning both palletised & handball containers
Picking & packing parcels and palletised freight
Other Responsibilites
Ensure the warehouse and work spaces are kept clean and tidy
Accurately receive, check and put away goods inbound
Devan both palletised and handball containers
Accurately deal with parcel/pallet returns in co-ordination with our customers policies
Safely operate equipment provided in accordance with safe working practice
Labelling goods accurately ready for dispatch
20 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata)
Place goods correctly into storage bays & ensure that stock is stored to allow safe storage,
All training provided by supervisors and experienced staff members
£50 monthly bonus for 100% attendance and no damages to company equipment and property
Forklift Licence REQUIRED
