More than a driving role – you’ll help people recover when they need it most.
You’ll be responsible for safely removing, transporting and caring for customers’ belongings following fire and flood damage, helping families and businesses recover after unexpected events.
This opportunity is being advertised by Vapor Clean on behalf of our sister company, Disaster Care Cotswolds.
If you enjoy practical work, being out on the road rather than behind a desk, and take pride in helping people when they need it most, this could be the perfect role for you.
Disaster Care Cotswolds provides specialist fire, flood and property damage restoration services across the South West. Every day, we help homeowners and businesses recover after unexpected events, carefully restoring properties and returning treasured belongings to their owners.
As part of our growing team, you’ll play a vital role in that process. You’ll work alongside experienced colleagues, travel to a variety of locations and enjoy a role where every day brings a new challenge.
What You’ll Be Doing
Based from our Nailsworth depot, you’ll collect your company vehicle each morning before travelling to customer properties across the South West.
Your day could involve:
- Carefully packing, listing and inventorying customers’ belongings
- Removing contents for storage or specialist restoration
- Driving a 3.5-tonne Luton van between customer sites and our depot
- Loading and unloading furniture and household items safely
- Removing damaged items and waste from properties
- Supporting customers with professionalism and empathy during what can often be a difficult time
- Working closely with colleagues to deliver an excellent service
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (on-site): 8:00am – 5:00pm
As we support a variety of domestic and commercial clients, there may occasionally be opportunities for early morning, evening, or overnight work. Any additional hours are paid as overtime, with suitable rest periods provided. We’re looking for someone who can offer a degree of flexibility when needed.

- Are confident meeting and talking to customers
- Want a role where your work genuinely makes a difference to people’s lives
