Afterschool Club Assistant (Term Time Only)
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM (Term Time Only)
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our small team providing afterschool care for primary school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all children in the group are well cared for and their individual needs are met.
- Engage in play and activities with the children, ensuring they have a fun and enjoyable experiences
- Ensure supervision and safety of children at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
- Assist in the preparation and serving of snacks.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment for children and staff, adhering to safeguarding policies at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the entire team to support the smooth running of the setting.
- Help with the setup and tidying away of resources and equipment, ensuring hygiene, health & safety, and infection control standards are consistently maintained.
Desirable:
- A relevant Playwork qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience working with children across a range of ages and backgrounds.
