Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including chefs, servers, and baristas, fostering a positive team environment.
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
- Manage daily operations, including inventory control, stock ordering, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Implement training programmes for staff development in areas such as food safety, service excellence, and culinary techniques.
- Coordinate with kitchen teams to optimise food production and presentation.
- Monitor financial performance through sales analysis and cost control measures.
- Enforce health and safety policies across all operational areas within the restaurant.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely procurement of ingredients and supplies.
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff towards common goals.
- Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent leadership qualities combined with organisational skills.
- Experience in food production, serving, hospitality management, or hotel environments is desirable.
- Knowledge of barista techniques or bar management is advantageous.
