A Hotel Operations Manager is a mid-level hospitality professional responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a hotel to ensure exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, and profitability. They coordinate multiple departments, including the Front Office, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Maintenance, and Guest Services, while ensuring compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations, and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of all hotel departments to ensure efficient and seamless service delivery.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Supervise, train, and evaluate department managers and hotel staff to maintain high performance standards.
- Develop staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
- Monitor departmental budgets, operating expenses, and revenue to achieve financial targets.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Marketing, and Events teams to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, hotel policies, and brand standards.
- Analyze operational reports and identify opportunities to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage inventory, supplier relationships, and procurement of hotel supplies and equipment.
- Support the General Manager in implementing strategic initiatives and achieving the hotel's business objectives.
Pay: From £5,000.00 per month
