Romac Logistics is expanding and recruiting an experienced Transport Coordinator ahead of the opening of our new 251,000 sq ft East Midlands logistics facility located at Junction 29A on the M1 corridor.

Romac Logistics is recruiting for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our busy transport operation.
We operate a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (12-hour), offering structured work-life balance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Coordinate transportation activities, including scheduling and dispatching drivers.
Monitor transportation costs and performance metrics to ensure efficiency.
Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate deliveries.
Utilise logistics software to track shipments and resolve any issues.
Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities.
Skills and Experience:
Essential skills: Customer service, logistics, computer literacy.
Desirable skills: IT, supply chain, proficiency in Word and Outlook.
Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
A valid driving licence is preferred.
