As a Search Consultant, you'll become an important part of this process.
What will you be doing?
You'll work alongside our experienced team to identify and connect with talented accounting and finance professionals across the UK.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Building relationships with talented candidates through telephone conversations, email, LinkedIn and social media.
- Researching and identifying high-quality candidates for our clients' vacancies.
- Speaking with candidates about their experience, career plans and what they are looking for in their next opportunity.
- Advising candidates on suitable career opportunities and helping them understand the current market.
- Building and maintaining your own network of talented professionals for future opportunities.
- Researching leading accountancy and finance firms and understanding the roles they are recruiting for.
- Working closely with experienced consultants and headhunters to support successful candidate placements.
- Keeping up to date with the accountancy and finance recruitment market.
No two days will be exactly the same. You'll spend your time researching, speaking to people, learning about different businesses and finding the right opportunities for the right candidates.
What are we looking for?
We're more interested in your attitude and potential than your previous recruitment experience.
You may already have experience in sales, customer service, business development, administration, account management or another people-focused environment. Alternatively, you may simply be looking for a new challenge and a career where you can develop and progress.
You'll ideally be:
- Confident and comfortable speaking to people over the phone.
- Friendly, personable and able to build rapport with different types of people.
- Curious and genuinely interested in learning.
- Ambitious and motivated to develop your career.
- Organised and able to manage your own workload.
- Resilient and able to stay positive when things don't always go to plan.
- A team player who enjoys working alongside and supporting others.
- Motivated by achieving goals and seeing the results of your hard work.
Previous recruitment experience is not essential. What matters most is that you're willing to learn, prepared to work hard and want to build a successful career. Experience in a corporate background is ideal.
