Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Sponsorship also available.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations
- Monitor food production processes to maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency
- Ensure all food safety protocols are strictly followed, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to coordinate service times and optimise customer satisfaction
- Assist in menu planning and development to incorporate seasonal ingredients and innovative culinary techniques
- Maintain organised kitchen stations and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Good communication skills
- A passion for culinary arts with an eye for detail in presentation and quality control
- Relevant qualifications in culinary arts or hospitality management are desirable but not essential
