We are looking for an experienced Garage Mechanic / Vehicle Technician to join our busy and growing automotive team in Southampton.
This is a Monday to Friday position offering excellent pay, additional bonuses and a £1,000 joining bonus for the right candidate.

Main Duties
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Complete brake, suspension, steering and general repair work
- Carry out clutch, timing belt/chain and other mechanical repairs where experienced
- Inspect vehicles and identify additional work required
- Work efficiently to manufacturer and workshop standards
- Complete job cards and technician reports accurately
- Communicate clearly with the service advisor and management team
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Carry out road tests when required
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
Essential Requirements
- Previous professional garage / mechanic experience is essential
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Able to diagnose faults and complete repairs independently
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Able to work as part of a busy workshop team
- MOT licence would be an advantage but is not essential
