Sastak Ltd is a growing agricultural business dedicated to providing products and services to the farming and rural sector. We are predominantly a machinery ring, with aspects of a cooperative, and a buying group. We are looking for a motivated and personable individual to join our team. While an agricultural background is essential, we believe personality and attitude are the key ingredients for success in this role.
The Role
This is a flexible position that will be office-based during the first few months. Following this initial period, the role will require spending approximately 50% of the time in the office to support customers, manage enquiries, and assist with day-to-day business operations. The remaining time will involve visiting customers, suppliers, industry events, and agricultural sites. The role offers a high degree of flexibility and variety, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling customer enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Processing orders and supporting administrative functions
- Assisting with sales activities and identifying opportunities for business growth
- Maintaining accurate customer and business records
- Supporting the wider team with operational and administrative tasks
- Attending customer visits, agricultural events, or meetings as required
About You
- Has a background in agriculture or a strong understanding of the agricultural industry
- Is confident communicating with a wide range of people
- Has a positive, friendly, and professional attitude
- Is organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Is computer literate and comfortable using Microsoft Office and business software
- Works well both independently and as part of a team Holds a full UK driving license
Desirable but Not Essential
- Previous sales experience
- Experience in customer service or account management
