Summary
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Tutor to join our team in the United Kingdom. This role involves delivering tailored tutoring sessions to students with SEND, helping them achieve their full potential. The position is based in the UK and plays a vital part in supporting our commitment to inclusive education.
Tutor roles across Hampshire : Andover, Winchester, Eastleigh, Fareham, Petersfield, Dibden Purlieu + Wellingborough. KS1 to Post-16. £25–£32.50/hr, term time only.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised tutoring sessions to children and young people with SEND, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with schools, parents, and local authorities to develop effective learning plans.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain detailed records of student development and session outcomes.
- Foster a supportive and motivating environment that encourages student engagement.
- Promote inclusive learning practices aligned with our core values of empathy and empowerment.
- Stay informed about best practices in special education and adapt methods as needed.
Qualifications/Experience
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching children with SEND.
- Strong communication skills tailored to working with young learners.
- Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to individual student requirements.
- Passion for supporting inclusive education.
- Relevant qualifications in education or special education are preferred.
