Cacciari's Soho is a vibrant and stylish Italian restaurant located in the heart of Soho, offering authentic Italian cuisine with a contemporary approach in one of London’s busiest dining destinations. Our venue spans multiple levels and welcomes a high volume of guests daily, including theatre-goers, tourists, and London locals.
We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and driven Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and maintain the highest standards of food quality, consistency, and kitchen operations.
The Role
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for the overall management of the kitchen, ensuring exceptional food standards, strong team leadership, and efficient service during busy trading periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen team
- Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation standards
- Manage kitchen operations, stock control, ordering, and GP targets
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff
- Work closely with management on menu development and seasonal specials
- Drive consistency and efficiency during high-volume service
- Manage rotas and labour costs effectively
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Head Chef in a busy, high-volume restaurant
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent knowledge of Italian cuisine
- Proven ability to manage food costs and kitchen budgets
- Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety regulations
- Passion for quality ingredients and exceptional guest experiences
- Calm under pressure with excellent organisational skills
