Kitchen Assistant
Location: Bracknell Care Home, Crowthorne Road, Bracknell, RG12 7DN

Hours: up to 40 hours a week available
Rate of Pay: £12.72 an hour & enhanced overtime rate.
You will need to work to a rota that covers weekday and weekend shifts.
At Their Perfect Care, we’re a small, independently run home that truly values our team and the people we support. We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our residential care home team. You will support our Cook to prepare nutritious meals for our residents. Your work will help maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with basic food preparation.
- Clean kitchen equipment and dining areas.
- Wash dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils.
- Store food deliveries safely and correctly.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Interact warmly and respectfully with residents.
Requirements
Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
- Knowledge of basic food hygiene rules.
- Ability to work well in teams.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Reliable approach to timekeeping and shifts.
- Pass a mandatory background check (DBS).

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant in a care home environment is desirable but not essential – what matters most is your caring nature and willingness to learn
