The school is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic teaching assistant who is able to support teaching and learning, working 1:1 with child/children who have additional needs.
The successful applicant with be working with and supervising individuals and small groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching and /or senior staff, inclusive of specific learning needs, enabling access to learning for individuals/groups of pupils.
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of working with children and young people with additional needs. The role will also involve supporting children out of the classroom, as well as supporting teaching and learning in the classroom. The post also includes pastoral care duties including lunchtime pupil support.
