About CPMS
Working throughout the UK rail network, CPMS provides a diverse range of services including – Station platform construction, maintenance and refurbishment works. We also undertake bridgeworks, station roofs and canopies. Building maintenance and refurbishment is carried out in stations, depots, signal boxes, lineside buildings, arches, carparks and roadways. We currently undertake PPM and reactive maintenance tasks as well as Civil and HVAC works and M&E services. Our clients include Network Rail, Train Operating Companies, Freight Operating Companies, Heritage Railways and Light Rail.
About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Coordinator to join our team, based at our Head Office in Elderslie.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in coordinating day-to-day support requests, maintaining accurate system records and providing a high standard of service to both internal teams and external customers. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for prioritising tasks, managing information across multiple systems and supporting the wider team to deliver timely and effective services across the rail network.
Role Responsibilities
- Accurate data entry of all operative job sheets to management system
- Liaising with sub-contractors on planning and completion of works
- Assisting with work planning, ensuring all timescales are adhered to and deadlines are successfully met
- Administering all correspondence, filing and scanning received
- Updating of operators’ paperwork, both internal employees and sub-contractors
- Creation and distribution of job packs
- Notifying Commercial team of job quotes from employees and sub-contractors
- Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff member, including transferring to on-call manager
- Updating and providing reports
- Ad hoc tasks, as required
Role Experience/Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role
- Ability to organise and prioritise own work schedule
- Skilled planning and problem solving
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, namely Excel & Outlook
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
