The basics
Salary: £37,729.31 per year
Contract: Permanent
Location: Amplius south region (Milton Keynes and surrounding areas)
Work hours: Monday to Friday (4 days 08.30am - 5pm & 1 day 10am - 6pm)

What you’ll be doing
-
Carrying out a wide range of plumbing repairs including leaks, blockages, taps, valves, sanitary fittings and pipework

Diagnosing faults accurately and completing repairs on a first-time fix basis wherever possible

Ensuring all work meets health & safety requirements, water regulations and internal standards

Working in customers’ homes, communal areas and empty properties to deliver a responsive service

Recording job details, materials used and outcomes using mobile technology

Working collaboratively with other trades to complete multi-skilled repairs where needed

Managing tools, equipment and stock responsibly

Identifying and reporting safeguarding, compliance or property concerns

Taking part in a 24-hour standby rota service when required
What you’ll need
-
NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)

Experience in domestic plumbing repairs in occupied and/or empty homes
-
Good understanding of water systems and how to diagnose faults

Ability to find and fix issues first time where possible

Knowledge of water regulations and safe working practices

Good communication and customer service skills in people’s homes

Able to work on your own and manage your workload

Comfortable using a mobile device to record job details

Full UK driving license and willingness to travel

Able to pass a DBS check and eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
