Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Care Worker to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality support to clients assisting with their daily activities, and contributing to their overall wellbeing. Responsibilities
- Offer personalised care and support to vulnerable and elderly clients , ensuring their individual needs are met in accordance with care plans
- Assist with daily routines such as dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any significant observations or concerns
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other professionals to deliver consistent care and support
- Drive clients safely to appointments or activities when required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with families, and team members to promote a positive environment
- Use IT systems to update records, track progress, and plan future support
Requirements
- Experience working with vulnerable and elderly clients is highly desirable
- Valid driving licence and the ability to drive safely is preferred
- Ability to develop and follow detailed care plans tailored to each clients needs
- Excellent communication skills in Welsh and English , both verbal and written
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and reporting purposes
- Compassionate attitude with a strong commitment to safeguarding and welfare
- Flexibility to work shifts as required, including occasional evenings or weekends if necessary
