At Leeds Jewish Welfare Board (LJWB), our vision is Positively Changing Lives. We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and hardworking Bank Cleaner to join our Facilities Team, helping us maintain clean, safe and welcoming environments for our service users, staff and visitors.
This is a flexible bank position, ideal for someone looking for occasional work to cover annual leave, sickness and other absences.
As a Bank Cleaner, you'll play an important role in ensuring our buildings remain clean, safe and well-presented. You'll work across our sites, carrying out a range of cleaning duties while maintaining the high standards expected throughout LJWB.
Your duties will include:

Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, communal areas and toilet facilities.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing and maintaining floors.
- Ensuring cleaning schedules are completed to a high standard.
- Safely storing and using cleaning equipment and materials.
- Reporting maintenance issues and health and safety concerns.
- Maintaining external areas by removing litter and keeping entrances tidy.
- Providing cover for planned and unplanned absences within the Facilities Team.
We're looking for someone who:

Has previous cleaning experience (commercial or community setting preferred).
- Takes pride in delivering high standards of cleanliness.
- Is reliable, flexible and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Understands the importance of health and safety and COSHH.
- Has a positive, can-do attitude and enjoys helping others.
- Is willing to work flexible hours when required.
- £12.71 per hour.
