We are looking for a proactive, caring and reliable Female Support Worker to join an established care team supporting a 26-year-old man with complex disabilities. He has cerebral palsy and learning difficulties and lives with his mum and siblings in a spacious, fully adapted family home with facilities available for support staff.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys providing person-centred support and would like to become part of a well-established and supportive care team.
About the Role

The successful candidate will be confident in communicating, able to work as part of a team and comfortable using their own initiative. Comprehensive and bespoke training will be provided to ensure you are confident supporting our client's individual needs.
Experience supporting people with cerebral palsy, epilepsy, learning disabilities or other complex care needs is desirable but not essential.
Flexibility
The hours advertised are the regular shifts for this role. However, we require flexibility to provide additional cover for other shifts when needed, including periods of annual leave, sickness or staff absence.
The ability to be flexible and support the wider care team when required is therefore an important part of the role.
Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and confidence driving as part of the role.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Applicants must therefore already have the appropriate right to work in the UK.

- Reliable, punctual and flexible.
- Willingness to undertake relevant training.
Person Specification
- Experience or knowledge of supporting people with complex health needs and disabilities is desirable.
- Experience supporting people with epilepsy and/or learning disabilities is desirable but not essential.
- Caring, patient and compassionate approach.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Confident working independently and using initiative.
