Mon-Thu 7am - 4.30pm
Fri - 7am - 12pm
Job Description – Factory Operative
Reporting to – Factory Manager
This role is responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks, you will be required to carry out further reasonable tasks not mentioned below:
· Assemble machines to specification
· Assemble Electrical/non-electrical parts to specification
· Repair faulty machines/parts to specification
· Operate various hand tools
· Sub assembly trollies to be replenished and replaced to fulfil daily machine build requirements
· Perform regular quality checks on assembled parts
· Maintain stock levels of parts and replenish when necessary
· Fulfil all MRP requirements to correct standard
· Be active in Goods in process and machine despatch
· Always operate in a safe manner, which conforms with health and safety practices
· Meet agreed goals and objectives in a timely manner
· Arrive to work and other work related functions on time as scheduled
· Interact with other team members and other departments in a professional manner
· Keep the assembly bays, Sub Assembly, Goods in, Machine despatch area and Warehouse clean and tidy and free of any hazards
· Report any system failures to your line manager immediately
· Operate MHE when required – Licence and authorisation permitting
· Complete and return works orders to Stock Controller.
· Maintain stock control of consumable goods and liaise with Purchase lead.
