Full-Time Position
Acorn Health & Leisure Ltd took over the management of East Grinstead Sports Club in February 2023. Since then, the club has continued to grow, and we are now looking to expand our team to support the increasing demands of our thriving sports and leisure facility.
Located just one mile southwest of East Grinstead (RH19 4JU), East Grinstead Sports Club is home to a wide range of successful sporting clubs including hockey, football, cricket, netball, squash, and badminton. Alongside our resident clubs, we also welcome numerous local schools, organisations, and community groups who use our facilities throughout the week.
We are currently seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a full-time Leisure Assistant. This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering excellent customer service across all areas of the club
- Setting up and taking down sports equipment and activity spaces
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the club facilities
- Serving customers within the café and bar areas
- Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the club
Skills & Requirements
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is confident working independently and as part of a team
- Is reliable, proactive, and adaptable
- Is willing to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Holds their own transport due to shift patterns and location
Shift times may vary between:
06:00am – 12:30am
Previous experience in leisure, hospitality, retail, or customer service is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
