The Role
As Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in delivering consistently high standards across service. You will manage your section confidently, maintain exceptional food quality, and support junior members of the kitchen team.
You will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth daily operations while contributing ideas, maintaining standards, and helping drive the kitchen forward.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fresh dishes to a consistently high standard
- Run and manage your designated kitchen section efficiently
- Ensure food hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained at all times
- Assist with stock rotation, ordering and waste control
- Support junior chefs and kitchen assistants where required
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen
- Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams
- Contribute positively to menu development and seasonal specials
- Deliver excellent presentation and consistency during busy service periods
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to progress
- Passion for fresh food and quality cooking
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
- High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Reliable, professional and team-oriented attitude
- Food Hygiene certification preferred
