About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Head Implant Dental Nurse to lead our dental team and become a key member of our forward-thinking private clinical team.
This vital role involves senior clinical management, overseeing all aspects of patient care related to dental implant procedures, ensuring the highest standards of clinical excellence, and providing exceptional support to both patients and the dental team. As the Head Dental Implant Nurse, you will play a key role in coordinating treatment plans, managing clinical workflows, and fostering a positive environment focused on patient satisfaction and safety. Your leadership will help us deliver outstanding implant services while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee the dental nursing team, ensuring high standards of clinical support, patient care and professional conduct.
- Oversee and maintain practice SOPs, clinical protocols and nursing procedures, ensuring consistent compliance across the practice.
- Take responsibility for infection prevention and control, including decontamination, sterilisation and clinical hygiene standards.
- Oversee COSHH documentation, PPE management and clinical safety requirements.
- Carry out and maintain clinical risk assessments and audits, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate actions.
- Ensure infection control and clinical protocols are consistently followed and maintained to a high standard.
- Support clinicians in delivering general, cosmetic, implant and advanced dental treatments, including complex surgical procedures.
- Lead, support and develop the dental nursing team, including training, onboarding and maintaining clinical standards.
- Manage clinical stock, equipment and surgery readiness, ensuring the practice is appropriately equipped.
- Work closely with the Practice Manager and clinical team on compliance, governance and day-to-day operational matters.
- Support the practice in maintaining a strong culture of patient safety, clinical excellence and continuous improvement.
