Job Overview:
We are seeking a Transport Planner to join our team. The Transport Planner will be responsible for coordinating and optimising transportation activities to ensure efficient delivery of goods.
Duties:
- Plan and coordinate transportation routes to meet delivery schedules
- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries
- Utilize transportation management systems to track shipments and resolve issues
- Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline operations
Skills:
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Experience with logistics operations
- Drive for results and continuous improvement mindset
- Proficiency in Word and Outlook for documentation and communication
Salary:
Salary is dependent on experience.
