Overview:
We are looking for a Supervisor to help in the smooth day to day running of our Restaurant, to maintain consistent high standards of presentation and Customer Service.
Duties:
- Assist in the day to day running of the Restaurant.
- Help to prepare the day-to-day menu requirements as agreed with the manager and senior chef and to present quality food/drinks, following agreed recipes. Assist with menu development with the aim of maximising catering sales
- Manage inventory, place orders, conduct stocktake, rotate stock, and maintain product pricing. To maintain required records for stock, orders, food diaries & waste.
- Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge of our food and drink products and local suppliers
- Train and support restaurant assistants; assist with scheduling and identify training needs. Support the restaurant manager with the training and retention of staff
- Enforce strict Health & Safety, Food Safety and cleaning standards and complete relevant paperwork. Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy throughout the operating hours. Adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety policy at all times.
- Ensure that the highest levels of customer satisfaction are prevalent; handle complaints, and promote a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Notify the Manager of all compliments, queries or complaints received relating to the Restaurant or the associated businesses.
- Log maintenance issues, report accidents and communicate with management. Attend regular team meetings as required.
- Briefing staff, overseeing performance, ensuring correct uniform & PPE use.
- Serving customers, operating tills, upselling & managing queues.
- Maintaining clean service areas, kitchen, equipment and storage
- Managing floats, cashing up, temperature checks & daily records.
Skills:
- Proven experience in a busy Restaurant or Catering role at Team Leader level or above
- Operational knowledge of ordering and stock rotation

Pay: £13.25 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Fraserburgh and District AB43: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
