Smiles by the River is a modern, high-end private dental clinic in Battersea, specialising in cosmetic, implant and advanced restorative dentistry. As our clinic continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Patient Enquiry & Sales Coordinator to join our team.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in sales, appointment conversion or patient coordination who is confident handling enquiries, building trust with prospective patients, and consistently converting interest into booked consultations.

The Role
As the first point of contact for many of our new patients, you will play a key role in the growth of the practice by converting inbound enquiries into booked consultations through professional, consultative conversations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to inbound telephone, website, email and social media enquiries.
- Converting qualified patient enquiries into booked consultations.
- Building trust and rapport with prospective patients through confident, personalised conversations.
- Following up with patients who are not yet ready to book and nurturing enquiries through to conversion.
- Managing email, SMS and telephone communications efficiently and professionally.
- Maintaining accurate patient records using our practice management system.
- Working closely with the clinical team to ensure an exceptional patient journey from first enquiry through to consultation.
- Supporting continuous improvements to our patient enquiry and conversion processes.
This role is focused entirely on inbound enquiries .
Performance Expectations
This is a results-driven position with clearly defined KPIs. Success will be measured through:
- Consultation booking conversion rates.
- Follow-up completion and lead management.
- Quality of patient communication.
- Administrative accuracy.
- Individual and team performance targets.

Essential Experience
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a sales, appointment booking, patient coordination, treatment coordination or consultative sales role.
- A proven history of consistently achieving or exceeding sales and conversion targets.
- Experience converting inbound enquiries into appointments or consultations.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and objection-handling skills.
- Confidence closing appointments through natural conversations without relying on scripts.
- Experience working in a KPI-driven environment where performance is measured.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confidence using CRM or practice management systems.
- A proactive attitude and genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Full training will be provided on our treatments, systems and processes.
